A Professional Photographer as your photo tour guide
Since 2012, Barcelona Photo Walk is a day or night photography tour and also a photography workshop run by the professional photographer Stefano Politi Markovina. The photo tour is aimed to enthusiast photographers visiting Barcelona, one of the world’s most exciting destinations.
Stefano Politi Markovina is a professional travel and events photographer living in Barcelona (Spain). He is contributing photographer for the worldwide prestigious photo agencies AWL-Images, Alamy and Getty Images. His images are published regularly on international newspapers, travel magazines, tourist guides, books and calendars including also National Geographic, Rough Guides, Lonely Planet, Fodor's Travel, Condé Nast Traveller, Travel + Leisureand more famous publications.
Stefano was great from start to finish. From my first email his response was quick and the booking process was very smooth. On the day he was really good, giving us tips and ideas, with regards to the level of photography we are at, and on how to shoot the different sites he took us to. He even gave us historical background information on the subjects so we could get a sense of what we needed to get in the picture. It was like having your own tour guide for the city. I would recommend anyone who’s interested in photography take the tour if it’s your first visit, as some of the places you may never find, let alone stumble across. Thank you Stefano, my daughters and I really enjoyed our time with you. Very good value for money too.
Day and Night Photo Tours
Our photo tours in Barcelona are reserved to photographers with a reflex digital camera (or a compact one with manual settings). Photo tours take place in the picturesque Gothic Quarter (Barrio Gotico) and Raval districts, both located in the old town and include places like the Boqueria Market, Cathedral of Santa Eulalia, MACBA museum and, above all, tiny squares and narrow streets which shape the authentic Barcelona’s soul.
During the Barcelona photo tour, Stefano will show you the most picturesque old town’s corners and push you to challenge your photographic skills and creativity in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere.
Before and during the Barcelona photowalk, beginner photographers will benefit of an adequate lesson suitable to improve the knowledge of their cameras and basic photographic techniques.
Don’t forget your camera, wear a pair of comfortable walking shoes, bring some water and join our photo tour in Barcelona!
Think of participating to our Barcelona night photowalk to discover an even more intimate, different and more picturesque Barcelona. A tripod is definitely recommended for the night photo tour.
Night tours run from September 15th to April 15th.
